NEW TECUMSETH – Provincial police are looking for two suspects who recently stole hundreds of dollars worth of Scotch whiskey from the Tottenham LCBO store.
Nottawasaga OPP officers responded to a shoplifting incident at the Queen Street South liquor store on November 27.
Police say the two people entered the store shortly before 10:30 a.m. They took about $1,400 worth of Johnnie Walker and then left the store without attempting to pay, the OPP said.
The OPP hopes members of the public can help identify the suspects seen in the surveillance footage.

In a separate incident at the same store on December 6, police say three suspects entered the LCBO store shortly before 2 p.m., picked up three empty baskets and filled them with alcohol before leaving without allegedly making any attempt to pay .
According to investigators, the items taken included a bottle of Jose Cuervo Especial Gold Tequila ($75.95), two bottles of Hennessy vs. Cognac ($74.80), two bottles of Hennessy vs. Hero ($74.95), two bottles of Tanqueray London Dry Gin. ($72.05), one bottle of Jose Cuervo Especial Gold Tequila ($56.45), three bottles of Casamigos Tequila Blanco ($84.95), two bottles of Forty Creek Barrel Select Whiskey ($69.95) and one bottle of Appleton Estate V/X Signature Blend ($71.45).
This is a total loss of $1,043.70.
The suspects are described as a ‘brown’ man with a moustache, aged between 30 and 40, wearing blue trousers, a green jacket and white shoes; a white man with a mustache, 30 to 40 years old, wearing a blue jacket, blue flat cap and black shoes; and a white woman, approximately 30 years old, wearing a red hoodie and a black and white jacket.
